Description
Trigger – 10th generation
All Around
Kite Sizes: 5/7/8/9/10/12/14
This year we’re celebrating 10 years from the day Trigger was presented to the kitesurfing community. In these 10 years, we have learned a lot about you and about ourselves. Thanks to your embrace, your loyalty and yes – also your criticism, we have been able to bring you a better kite each year, tweaking the features that were most important to our riders. For the Trigger’s 10th generation we kept all the core characteristics that have been a crowd favorite from day one – agility, quick turning, massive hangtime – and added a little something extra for each kite size. For example, for the 7m we added stability in high winds. The 9m has been beefed up with even more hangtime and the 14m received extra power on the low end. This past decade had been one crazy ride and we would like to thank all of our Trigger riders for being a part of it. Ride on!

Features
The 3-strut kite design has proven itself since the day Blade introduced it in 2008,
enhancing the responsiveness and turning speed for any size kite.
All Blade kites are designed to be super reactive and quick turning. This is vital in order to progress as riders and define one’s riding style.
The wind range for this kite has been increased, so that you can enjoy maximum kite performance in multiple wind conditions.
Whether the kite dives onto the water or tumbles through the waves, it doesn’t matter. The exclusive kite design forces the wingtips out of the water and to the edge of the window. Virtually no work is needed to get back up and riding.
Inflating your kites becomes easier and faster with the max flow inflation system. The kite will be ready to go in almost half the time, along with a very gratifying bonus: a higher leading edge pressure that leads to a better kite performance.
Turning axis is generated along the LE between center strut and wingtip, resulting in efficient balance between turning speed and power delivery. This is a key performance feature for all-around kites.
A steeper profile shape has many added benefits, primarily in jumping performance. The deep contours pack the kite with immediate power, providing the required thrust for big aerials.
The profile shape from the leading to the trailing edge changes as you move from the center out towards the wingtips. This rider-conscious design provides the optimal performance characteristics for the different stages of flight.
Optional wave setting positions the kite further in the edge of the window, allowing more depower,
All new kites have a wavy shaped double ripstop layer. This new shape helps to evenly spread the force between single to double layers which results in less wear overall
Construction
Cross-Fiber Ripstop
The all new cross-fiber ripstop is a newly developed double weaved fabric, which provides your kite with double the strength and durability. An additional layer of coating increases the canopy’s resistance and prevents it from wearing out.
Bridle Attachment Point
Internally constructed, the leading edge has twice as many reinforcement patches.
That means larger LE impact loads resistance and additional protection from the constant wear and abrasion.
